Privacy Policy
Effective July 27, 2026
This Policy explains how Myntera handles personal data when you visit the website, create an account, save research preferences, or contact us.
1. Data controller and contact
Myntera is responsible for the personal data described here. Until a dedicated privacy inbox is active, privacy questions and requests can be sent through the signed-in in-app feedback form.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, account identifier, verification status, and authentication data.
- Saved choices: watchlists, alert preferences, theme, cookie choice, and Terms acceptance.
- Usage and device data: pages, interactions, approximate location, browser, and performance information only when optional analytics is accepted.
- Communications: feedback, support requests, and related technical details.
- Security data: logs needed to prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and protect accounts.
Myntera does not ask for brokerage passwords, payment-card data, or special-category personal data.
3. Why we use data
- To provide accounts, authentication, watchlists, and requested research features.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and investigate failures.
- To respond to feedback and service requests.
- With consent, to measure site usage, performance, and usability.
- To comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
Depending on the activity, the legal basis is performance of the service you requested, legitimate interests in operating and securing Myntera, compliance with law, or your consent for optional analytics.
4. Service providers
Myntera uses service providers to operate the platform, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for hosting and optional analytics/performance measurement, Microsoft Clarity for optional usability analytics, CookieYes for consent management, and Resend for service email. Market-data, news, and AI providers may process technical requests and article content needed to produce research, but they are not given your password.
Providers may process data in other countries. Where required, transfers rely on recognised safeguards or adequacy mechanisms offered by the provider.
5. Retention
Account data and saved settings are kept while the account is active and for a limited period afterward where needed for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Security logs and feedback are retained only as long as reasonably necessary. Analytics retention is controlled by the relevant provider settings.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through Cookie settings without affecting earlier lawful processing.
7. Cookies
See the Cookie Policy for the categories in use and how to change your choice. Necessary authentication and preference technologies remain active because the requested service cannot function reliably without them.
8. Children
Myntera is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone who cannot legally accept the Terms in their country. If you believe a child supplied personal data improperly, contact us through the in-app feedback form.
9. Changes
This Policy may be updated as Myntera changes. Material changes will be highlighted in the service and the effective date above will be updated.
